We discussed this at the informal Mini Meeting™ last night (after Joe's meeting) and the four of us - Fiona, Agratis Maquiladora, Arianrhod, and myself - thought that the biggest sea house might be good for this growing clan.
The houses in town seem to be getting crowded, and there's an auction coming up where we can gather some money to add to the "buy and decorate the ship house" fund.
There are a couple of questions I'd like to ask here :
1. Does anyone have a real objection to moving?
2. Would it be conceivable to take out a loan from the Mini funds? (Loan meaning we put it back later)

well. i like the houseing complex more because it's closer to TC. as for our house space, we just need to redecorate and get rid of some stuff. So i say no, let's keep our current mini house 8D

I wouldn't say the boat house area is exactly far from TC. It's just in the next snell! I knew chickens were a notoriously lazy breed, but I didn't know they were this lazy! 
But seriously, it wouldn't be so bad to be one measely snell away from TC, would it? I do think the Mini mansion at the moment feels quite cramped, but I don't really want to have less content than before. It feels like moving to something bigger would be the natural step, to me.
Also, I think we should try to minimize the use of clan funds. I know we could come up with the 10k pretty easily (or close to it). Of course, being in Library Land I can't really put my money where my mouth is in this case  Whatever we do won't bother me one way or the other.
As a formerly lyfed Mini, I know it is good to have that emergency fund piled high though. |
